Thanks For Stopping By

The end of summer finds me getting ready for the largest surf and board sports expo in the world, the 2016 September Surf Expo in Orlando Florida held September 8-10,2016. I will be attending as an Action Sports Industry Consultant for several companies as well as representing those companies I surf professionally for and am currently sponsored by. During the expo I am in place to meet several potential new companies to consult and represent in 2016/2017. The end of summer also brings me to the tail end of closing out an amazing second season at Vast Oceans Surf and Sup School in which I have sole ownership. I have been blessed with one of the BEST locations in the Sunshine State! Not only is Vast Oceans Surf and Sup School the closest of its kind to the sand, it is under the infamous sign and gateway to Florida – WELCOME TO THE WORLD’S MOST FAMOUS BEACH, DAYTONA BEACH – located at 815 International Speedway Boulevard. The combination of my professional surfing experience and teaching techniques allows me to share my love of surfing and bring a smile to the many students I have taught who can now surf safely with confidence.

After a successful and rewarding 8 months and second season managing, teaching and running the shop, I am taking time to do what I do best – be a PROFESSIONAL SURFER! I am off to Bali mid September-October to surf and work with some of the worlds best surfing photographers and videographers. I will be surfing in Indonesia – Bali/ Java/ Sumatra to score photos for my sponsor’s ad campaigns, website content and several surf publications. I am grateful this time of year in Indonesia brings, by far, the best wind and surf conditions. These are perfect “working” conditions for optimum ads, web content and publications. Thankfully, for me, also a time for personal growth. MIND – BODY – SPIRIT and SOUL!

Upon returning its time to focus on the West Coast and beyond. I am lined up to help several Action Sports Brands and sponsors I surf and consult for in California from the San Diego to the San Francisco area. This includes working with the core shops and companies I am affiliated with providing and consulting in ways which they can work together. The result, improving the operations in my hardcore shop and surf school. Plans for November and December’s agenda includes working for a few select companies in Hawaii to open doors, land accounts and create positive visibility to the surfing world for them and myself, in and out of the water, during The Hawaiian Triple Crown. Having been every year since the age of 11, I understand it is a gathering of the world’s best competing for photos and fame and like myself, the opportunity for many aspects of personal growth including the obvious, an opportunity to try master the powerful surf of the North Shore.

My goal for 2016 / 2017

Make my SURF / SUP SCHOOL AND SHOP a tremendous success – give back – bring out smiles and help the companies I represent and or work for a great deal , surf my brains out, and compete in several select events my sponsors wish me to be at and promote them. I am now currently coaching beginners through intermediate and advanced competitive surfing / winning skills to all ages female and male.

As an Industry consultant and professional surfer combo I am able and in a position to create a great deal of exposure and visibility for all new companies and current. I also work behind the scenes with design / promotions/ marketing and sales with most of my life in this incredible industry.

Please feel free to take a look at some of my latest exposure/ media and photos.

Again thank you for your time and stopping by,
Ryan R
